Crescendo Wines was founded in 2021 by Nick Jackson MW, in order to meet a market need for:
Increased availability of small, family-owned wineries
Greater diversity of wine styles, regions and grape varieties
Wines that lead with aromas, freshness and finesse rather than density and power
Professional, quick, and knowledgeable service
Nick Jackson MW, President
Nick Jackson MW is a Master of Wine, generally considered the highest qualification in wine. He is most well known for his influential guide to wine tasting, Beyond Flavour, which has become a go-to guide for students studying for wine tasting exams.
Nick worked for Sotheby’s Wine in London and New York for seven years, including many years spent as the buyer for the New York retail business. Originally from the UK, he moved to Florida in 2020 and lives in beautiful Jupiter.
Nick passed all the MW exams at the first attempt, graduating in 2019. He is one of Florida’s two Masters of Wine (the other being Eric Hemer MS MW). There are approximately 420 MWs worldwide, and fewer than 60 in the US.
